Rework & Repair at Electronics Yorkshire
Electronics Yorkshire's rework and repair facilities can be used to resolve problems identified during testing and inspection, or from product failures in the field; these facilities can also be used for product development.
This may mean carrying out a modification to a circuit track, replacing an incorrect component, and replacing a lifted pad of for laminate repair.
Reworking techniques require expert hand skills and a range of specialised equipment, all of which are on hand within the Electronics Yorkshire Technology Centre.
The equipment includes hot air rework systems, desolder vacuums, vision systems and a wide range of solder tools.
