Operation of Equipment

Q - Do I need to be trained to use the equipment in the Technology Centre?

A - As with all specialist equipment, a degree of knowledge and training is required to ensure safe operation and quality of results. We are happy to train you to use the equipment or to have our expert staff perform the analysis for you.

 

New Applications

Q - For a new application or analysis, how do I know that you can provide good results?

A - For all new applications, we are happy to perform an initial analysis at no cost to demonstrate that the available techniques can provide useful data.

 

Equipment Availability

Q - I need to perform some work on very short notice. Can you assist?

A - Wherever possible we will accommodate short notice access requests. Obviously this won't be possible if the equipment you need has already been booked for another purpose. However we can often arrange access outside of normal working hours i.e. from 7:30am or upto 6:30pm.
